Help & Advice

When are you open?

Our offices are open 5 days a week from 8.30am – 5.00pm between Monday to Friday.

Do I get an invoice?

We will Email you out an invoice / receipt with every order.

How can I place an order?

Order by phone on 01481 266811 or via Email. You will receive an email confirmation of your order giving details of each product purchased. We then strongly recommend these details are checked to ensure the correct items are delivered.

Can I change my order?

Yes, but you must speak to our team on 01481 266811 who will change your order and organize the appropriate payment (or refund any difference) to the amount originally charged.

What happens once my payment has been processed?

You will receive email confirmation of the successful transaction including a list of all the items you have purchased. We strongly recommend that you double check these with our web site to ensure you receive the correct items at the time of delivery – items that are ordered incorrectly are likely to incur charges for collection / replacement and will certainly cause a delay.

We begin processing your order as soon as it arrives. Within 24hrs of your order (excluding weekends) we will provide you with provisional delivery dates. For orders with longer delivery times, we or the courier will contact you nearer the time to arrange a suitable delivery slot.

Please be advised that these will vary from order to order.

Some products will be delivered directly from the manufacturers.

What payment options do you accept?

Our preferred payment is by either Bank transfer or Cheque.

Damaged Items

All items are checked before they leave our warehouse to ensure that the packaging is intact and no damage is visible to the item(s) ordered. Our damage rate is extremely low.

We also check the products when we deliver them to you with you or your fitter present, for any damage. If the customer is not present at time of delivery then it will be taken that whoever signs for the items is authorized to do so by the customer. You will be required to sign for the items having been received in perfect condition once we have all checked the goods. If any damage is noted at this point then the item(s) can be returned with the driver and replacements brought to you.

After you have taken delivery and accepted the goods we will not accept any claims for damaged goods after this point. All manufacturers warranties are still valid.


If there are stairs where you want your product / appliance delivered to then you will need to arrange for your own helpers to move goods to your desired place.


We do offer a full installation services regarding most of our products that we sell.

Delivery Addresses

We will deliver directly to you, to your customer or to a worksite.

Express Delivery is available on most products. Please state at Checkout if required and we will do our best to help, and we will advise you of delivery date and additional cost.

How much will I be charged for delivery?

This will vary with each order placed.

What guarantee comes with the goods?

Every product we sell is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. It may be possible to extend this warranty with the manufacturer, details of which can be found within the items packaging or on the manufacturer’s website. Your receipt/invoice acts as your guarantee and must be provided if making a warranty claim.

Can I change my delivery address?

You will need to call 01481 266811. You will need to confirm any changes in writing, or by email. Please call the above number to make these arrangements first.

I have received the wrong goods, what should I do?

You must report any errors within 7 days from receipt of delivery. You should report these on 01481 266811 and by email sales@thechromecompany.com
